The Eskil Vocational School Management and Organization Department Board met on March 24, 2026, under the chairmanship of the Acting Head of Department, Lecturer Dr. Zekiye ÖRTLEK, and with the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah KILIÇARSLAN. During the meeting, student feedback was evaluated within the scope of monitoring and continuous improvement of the education and training processes, and the work to be carried out was discussed within the framework of the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle.
The meeting also reviewed the findings from the 2025-2026 Academic Year Fall Semester Course Evaluation Survey; the partial decreases observed, particularly in the areas of "Course Load Suitability" and "Class Participation," were considered areas open to improvement. Accordingly, it was decided to review course content and Bologna Information Packages, make necessary updates, utilize teaching methods and techniques more effectively to support active student participation, and regularly monitor student attendance.
Direct feedback obtained from periodic meetings with students was also evaluated by the board. In line with students' opinions that they were not sufficiently informed about activities carried out within the university, it was decided to strengthen information processes, encourage students to more actively follow Aksaray University's official website and corporate social media accounts, and have academic advisors support this process.
It was decided that the decisions taken at the meeting would be implemented in accordance with the PDCA cycle, the work carried out would be monitored throughout the semester, and the effectiveness of the practices would be re-evaluated at the end of the semester based on the survey results and student feedback. The aim is to take necessary corrective measures based on the results obtained, thus ensuring continuous improvement in the education and training processes.
